Knitting

I have been knitting and I want to learn more. I am ready to move to big socks and hats and different things. I also want to get this quilt done too. This past week was hard for me it was my dads birthday. I miss him so much.

I am knitting a baby blanket and a blanket for a few other people and trying to finish a stocking. I would love to finish some of my stuff lol. I am sad this makes the second Christmas without my father. It is not the same my father always sang Christmas songs and he made it feel like the time of year. I am grateful that i have my mother and hubby and family to help through the hard times. I am grateful for my church family too. They are the best church family to have. Thanks Mt. Gallergar.

Yesterday was one year ago since my father passed away with cancer. It is so hard to go on some days because he was my best friend. I hear my kids talking about things the remember about their paw paw and it makes me smile
